V. Vijay Kumar works as an external consultant and advisor with Auroville Consulting. Vijay helps AVC to take the message of sustainability to focused groups such as corporates, government organisations and educational institutions. With experience of over 40 years in international trade and the commercial world, Vijay uses his network to help AVC reach out to a wide variety of people and organisations and create partnerships to enable AVC to create awareness and the need to act on climate change, renewable energy and other issues related to sustainability. Vijay is a post-graduate in Economics from The University of Bombay and resides in Chennai. He is passionate about sustainability, learning and helping the under-privileged.
