Parthipan is an Urban Planner at Auroville Consulting, specializing in sustainable urban development and climate-responsive planning. He holds a master’s degree in planning from the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from MEASI Academy of Architecture, Chennai. At Auroville Consulting, he contributes to the India Cooling Plan – Tamil Nadu, supporting the integration of heat-resilient strategies into district and state-level planning. His work involves policy research, preparation of technical reports, and stakeholder engagement with government agencies and private partners. Before joining Auroville Consulting, he completed internships at the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority on transit-oriented development and at the Center for Human Settlements on the Salem–Namakkal–Krishnagiri–Dharmapuri Regional Plan 2043.
