WHAT IS Auroville Consulting
Auroville Consulting (AVC) is a unit of the non-profit organisation, Auroville Foundation. It means any profits generated by the Unit are re-deployed in the Unit or its parent organization (Auroville Foundation) and not paid to any individual or any external entity. The fundamental values for the basis of work and collaboration at Auroville Consulting are: equality, good will, passion and commitment. Opportunities
We are seeking a junior outreach coordinator specializing in climate and energy to join our dynamic energy team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Programs: Design and execute awareness, outreach, and training initiatives focused on clean energy access and decarbonization, specifically targeting MSMEs.
Research and Monitoring: Investigate and track legislative, regulatory, and policy developments related to carbon disclosure, carbon offsetting, and the renewable energy sector.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document activities and prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes.
Dissemination of Research: Produce well-written academic publications, analytical reports, and other materials to effectively disseminate research findings.
Requirements:
High Social and Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Deep Sector Knowledge: Prior experience with GHG emission reporting and rooftop solar is desired.particular for distributed renewable energy systems.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil is required, with a preference for native speakers.
Travel: Extensive travel within Tamil Nadu is necessary.
Full-Time Commitment: This position requires full-time dedication.

We are looking for a renewable energy policy analyst with knowledge in the Indian power sector and a strong background in policy and legal frameworks.
Responsibilities entail:
Research and monitor legislative, regulatory and policy trends relevant to the renewable energy sector.
Analyse complex technical and socio-economic problems.
Research and design of novel business and implementation models in particular for distributed renewable energy systems.
Undertake and oversee quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and analysis using different research tools.
Prepare clearly written academic publications, analytical reports, and other forms of dissemination of research.
Correspond with stakeholders, present policy and regulatory alternative and create higher public awareness
Mentor and assist staff and early-stage researchers in the organization
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in this domain.

We are looking for a volunteer with expertise in customer support for a service-based organization.
The team is looking forward to invite volunteers to help in outbound calls in multiple Indian language to onboard customers on our platform.

This is an office-based position (9 am-5 pm IST). Prior experience in the service industry is preferred. No maintenance support will be offered on a volunteer basis.
Duration is 2 to 8 months as a volunteer.The candidate should be comfortable with Business English and Hindi. Additionally 1 or more of the following will also be very useful: Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu. Basic excel or willingness to learn excel is a must.

We are looking for a volunteer Mentor with expertise in performance marketing in the service sector. The team is looking forward to up-skill themselves in strengthening their performance and growth marketing strategies.
This can be a remote/hybrid position with flexible meeting hours (9 am-5 pm IST). Prior experience in the service industry is preferred. This in a volunteer position, no maintenance support will be offered.
Duration is 6 to 8 months as a volunteer mentor.
The candidate should have more than 1 year of relevant experience.
